Our services are detailed within our initial disclosure document is to provide credit broking specifically for vehicle leasing agreements. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. In addition to this document our initial disclosure document, information notice and privacy policy form a contract between TLG Group Limited and their customer. You will receive copies of each document when you decide to progress with an order and all of them can be found on our website within the footer section. We make sure that our terms and conditions are written in plain English and are as easy as possible to digest and understand. Further to this we reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.

Website

The content found on the pages of our website is sourced from CAP Automotive and is intended to be for indicative purposes only. If you are in any doubt over the suitability of the vehicle type, vehicle colour or specification then we would advise you to visit the manufacturer’s official website. We will provide a full quotation once we have confirmed your requirements. We will not be held liable for the use of any information, images or supporting tools on ours or the manufacturers website. We require our staff to ask relevant questions about your requirements and to provide key information up to the point of the formal quotation. We will not provide advice or recommendation so it is your responsibility to ensure that any products and services meet your requirements. We require written consent before you are permitted to copy, alter or reproduce any of the content held on our website.

 

The images available to view on our website are for illustration purposes only, our information provider will select an image to be representative for the model range but will not provide an image for every vehicle derivative.

 

Vehicle descriptions, technical data and specifications are referred to as vehicle data. To obtain this data we subscribe to a vehicle data provider and this data is updated on our website daily. Whilst every effort is made to verify and ensure the accuracy of the vehicle data on our website, the information should be used for indicative purposes and in conjunction with the manufacturer website or brochure. We reserve the right to make changes to imagery and vehicle information without notice.

Technical vehicle data includes details of co2 emissions and p11d values. Many of these values can be subject to change and are finalised at the point of registration with the DVLA. We will not be held liable for any changes in technical data due to amendments in the measurement methodologies or due to data errors.

Pricing

We provide website pricing for personal and business contracts where possible. Personal rentals include VAT (where applicable) and business rentals are shown excluding VAT.

Some of our website pricing is automatically loaded via feeds from our lenders. From time to time errors are identified in those feeds and we will react quickly to remove pricing when these errors are identified.

Pricing on the website is subject to availability of the vehicle and many of the special offers are sold by providers across the country and so stock positions can change very quickly. If at any time the VAT rate or any other government tax (e.g. Vehicle Excise Duty / Road Tax) changes between the point of quotation and the registration of the vehicle, all rentals will be adjusted accordingly by the finance provider. We cannot be held accountable for any change in government tax legislation.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices include the following; -

  • Driven delivery by the dealer to your chosen UK mainland location. Sometimes dealers will add an additional delivery charge for certain offers in which case TLG Group Limited will pass that charge onto the customer. This will be confirmed at point of order.
  • Number plates,
  • Road Fund Licence for the term (if applicable)
  • Vehicle Registration Charge.

TLG Group Limited reserves the right to change the price of the vehicle, either before or after an order is placed. Although this is a rare occurrence, if the price of a vehicle is changed after an order is placed, we will notify you of the change, and you have the right to withdraw your order if the change is not acceptable.

Prices quoted may vary depending on vehicle colour. This is a result of different residual values set by the finance company or may depend upon stock availability.

Prices on the website are for information purposes only and do not constitute an offer by TLG Group Limited.

Before processing your order, a processing fee will be required. The processing fee is the broker fee charged by TLG Group Limited for our service and represents the costs incurred for arranging the sale, ordering the vehicle, arranging the finance, and organising delivery of the vehicle. The amount required will be stated on your order form prior to acceptance by you.

Before ordering your vehicle, a deposit may be required. Subsequent cancellation may result in the loss of any monies paid subject to the discretion of TLG Group Limited.

Cancellations

To cancel your order please email hello@theleasingguys.co.uk with your Name, Order Reference, Vehicle Ordered and Reason for Cancellation. Upon receipt of your cancellation request TLG Group Limited will liaise with the funder and/or dealer and confirm any cancellation charges from them.

As is permitted by law, we will retain the processing fee to cover reasonable costs incurred in processing your requests.

Excess Mileage

You should predict the most suitable annual mileage allowance for your circumstances. Most lenders will quote on a wide range of annual mileages, so the lease is flexible in this respect. We will quote an indicative excess mileage charge stated as a pence per mile which is charged when your vehicle exceeds the agreed total mileage at the end of the term. This is taken from the finance company system. In some cases, there are varied bandings and there may also be other criteria around the mileage allowance in the lender’s terms & conditions. We will provide you with the standard excess mileage rate on our quotation and this will inform you of what the costs might be if you go over mileage. However, it is a requirement of our terms and conditions that all customers review the lenders finance documents to check the excess mileage rate, tiers and terms before entering into the agreement with the lender. We will not be held liable for any excess mileage charges at the end of the contract. If your circumstances do change within the lease period and you are likely to be under or over your mileage allowance you can contact us to ascertain whether the lender will provide a quote to adjust your mileage allowance.

Delivery

Quoted delivery lead times are based on information provided by our brand supplier and are not an obligation to supply the vehicle in the time specified. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that delivery dates are as accurate as possible, delivery dates are subject to change by the manufacturer, and on occasion, delays do occur due to production issues. TLG Group Limited will keep you informed of any known changes to your vehicle’s delivery date to allow you to make any necessary arrangements as. We have no control or influence over manufacturer lead times and will not accept any responsibility for any losses or inconvenience caused because of a delay from the manufacturer.

Please note that the statutory cooling-off period observed by finance companies applies to all vehicles, and vehicles will not be delivered until the cooling-off period has expired.

Vehicles may be delivered from port or PDI locations and you will not get a retail collection experience. In all cases the supplier must carry out a full pre delivery inspection as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. The delivery driver will aim to deliver a clean vehicle and will usually aim to use a car wash if one is available in the local vicinity of the delivery address. If there is any damage on the vehicle upon delivery or you feel that the vehicle is not as stated on the finance documents, then it is critical that you clearly raising the concerns with the delivery driver and note the issues on any paperwork or electronic tablet. If you are not happy to accept the vehicle then it’s important that you do not accept it, otherwise we may not be able to help you resolve the issues quickly or in some cases at all.

If a delivery is aborted at late notice the supplier may levy an appropriate charge and this will be passed onto you in the case that you needed to rearrange delivery of the vehicle.

During and after the lease

We will provide you with maintained and driver-maintained quotations and it is your decision as to which you go for. Every vehicle will need to be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines - if it is not then fines can be issued by the lender at the end of the lease agreement for things such as missed services and tyres being below legal limit. You must ensure that all service and MOT (where applicable) records are kept up to date and returned with the vehicle or online.

At the end of the lease, the vehicle will be assessed in accordance with the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear guide which is the industry standard in terms of what is deemed to be fair wear and tear. This is to ensure that customers are fairly treated. If there is damage that you feel might be outside of these guidelines, you can choose to get this repaired to avoid any fines, but this must be done to a manufacturers standard otherwise you may still be fined if deemed to be a sub-standard repair.
